Making Farming a First Choice Profession.

We are building India's agriculture entrepreneurship movement — to put one million rural agri-entrepreneurs at the centre of their own transformation by 2035.

Our Origin

It began with questions
no one was asking
loudly enough.

Why does the buyer earn more every year while we earn less?

Why do the most ambitious young people leave for cities that don’t want them?

Why does every government scheme arrive five years late?

Why does our work feed a country that has stopped seeing us?

Founded 12 Oct 2022

Thirty years of questions became one organisation.

Sangachadvam Foundation — built to give rural India's most ambitious young people the infrastructure to succeed on their own terms.

Rural transformation is not a question of good intentions. It is a question of getting six things right at once — technology, finance, markets, skilling, mentoring, and institution building.

Our Foundation

Why We Exist

Vision

A rural India where farming is a first-choice profession.

Economically viable, socially respected, ecologically sound — one million agri-entrepreneurs leading change by 2035.

Mission

To build the infrastructure that turns rural youth into agri-entrepreneurs.

Without leaving.
Without apology.
Without waiting.

Why

The answer to India's rural crisis is not pity. It is partnership.

Farmers need mentor networks, market access, and capital — not rescue.

Dignity and prosperity in rural India are not separate goals. They are the same goal.

The People We Stand With

Forty-five million reasons
this cannot wait.

45M

Aspiring Entrepreneur

Belagavi

The twenty-six-year-old farmer who has given up on agriculture twice and is wondering whether to try again.

Women-Led Enterprise

Haveri

The women's self-help group with ₹12,000 in seed capital, a handwritten business plan, and no one to call next.

Value Addition

Bidar

The horticulture family who watch a third of their mango crop rot every season — no processing unit within thirty kilometres.

Rural Youth

Dharwad

The agriculture graduate who would stay in the village if the village offered her a future.

We do not work for rural India.
We work alongside it.

These are not victims. They are entrepreneurs without infrastructure — skilled, ambitious, rooted people whose talent is being wasted because nobody has built the bridges they need.

What We Do

Six pieces of one whole.

Six interlocking programme areas — not six separate efforts. Six pieces of a single architecture, because none of them works on its own.

01

Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development

Agri-Enterprise

Rural youth backed with mentors, markets, proven technologies, and business planning support to run enterprises — not just work on farms.

02

Rural Livelihoods Generation

Livelihoods

Farm-based income diversification, SHG strengthening, and financial literacy — starting with what the family has and building outward.

03

Climate-Smart Agriculture

Climate & Ecology

Soil health, water conservation, agroforestry, and organic certification — alongside pathways into the carbon credit economy.

04

Value Addition

Value Chain

Primary processing units, food processing training, and direct connections to urban consumers, e-commerce, and institutional buyers.

More value stays in the village.

05

Skilling, Mentoring & Institution Building

Institution Building

Building enduring local structures — FPOs, cooperatives, CBOs — that carry the work forward long after external support withdraws.

This is how we make ourselves unnecessary.

06

Urban Community Interventions

Urban Reach

Extending our reach to first and second-generation migrants, informal workers, and city peripheries where rural and urban blur.

The rural question has an urban face.

Our Flagship Platform

Annadata.guru

Where the work becomes real.

The digital front door to our agri-entrepreneurship work — closing the distance between aspiring entrepreneurs and the four things they need most.

Mentors

Agri-entrepreneurs who have built what aspiring entrepreneurs are trying to build.

Markets

Direct connections to buyers, e-commerce platforms, and institutional purchasers.

Technologies

Field-tested tools that farmers can actually afford and maintain.

Transparency

An honest account of
where we stand.

We tell you where we are, not just where we are going. Statutory credibility, field progress, and a clear-eyed view of the road ahead.

Completed

Foundation Phase

The first years of operations were funded almost entirely by our founders and a small circle of volunteers. In that time, we tested our approach in the field, built institutional partnerships, launched Annadata.guru, and secured every major statutory registration needed to operate at scale.

Now

Scaling Phase

We are in active engagement with state and national grant-making bodies, corporate CSR teams, and philanthropic institutions — beginning with a state-wide Karnataka Livelihoods Initiative focused on rural youth unemployment, agri-enterprise development, and sustainable income generation.

Coming

Annual Report

We will publish what we have done — not only what we hope to do. Our first formal Annual Report, with full programme metrics, audited financials, and impact data, will be published in the coming financial year.

"The road from where we are to one million agri-entrepreneurs by 2035 is long. We are walking it with intent."

From the Field

Stories that stay with you.

The work lives in the people it touches. Real names, real places, real change.

Mentorship Belagavi, Karnataka

The Young Farmer Who Became a Mentor

At twenty-six, Ramesh had already given up on agriculture twice. What changed the third time was a mentor who had once been in the same place. Today, Ramesh mentors four others.

A mentor who had once been in the same place.

Women-Led Enterprise Haveri, Karnataka

How One Women's Group Built a Spice Enterprise

The seed capital was twelve thousand rupees. The business plan was one handwritten page. Three years on, the same group supplies spices to forty retailers across two districts.

₹12,000 and one handwritten page.

Value Addition Bidar, Karnataka

From Wasted Mangoes to a Village Pulp Unit

A third of the village's mango crop used to rot before it could reach a buyer. A small investment in primary processing changed the math for sixty households.

Yes. We hold permanent 80G certification under the Income Tax Act, which means both individual and corporate Indian donors are eligible to claim a deduction on their taxable income. An automated 80G receipt is issued to the donor's registered email for every contribution.

Two differences matter most. First, our integrated approach — technology, finance, markets, skilling, mentoring, and institution building are addressed as a single system, not as isolated programmes. Second, our emphasis on agri-entrepreneurship rather than charity — we treat rural youth as business-builders, not beneficiaries, and back them accordingly.

Yes. Sangachadvam Foundation is CSR-1 registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, making us eligible to receive Corporate Social Responsibility funds under Schedule VII of the Companies Act. We work with CSR teams to co-design programmes aligned with your geographic priorities and impact reporting requirements.
